A Valley of Fire State Park Wedding is a dream come true! If you want the most breathtaking landscape for your special day, Valley of Fire State Park cannot be beat for your fabulous outdoor wedding. Here are a few things that you should know about having a Valley of Fire wedding.
1. There are four permitted areas in Valley of Fire State Park that allow weddings with the proper permits and insurance (obtained by Scenic Las Vegas Weddings). The locations are Seven Sisters, Rainbow Vista, The Cabins, and the Visitor Center area. You can state a preference for one of the locations or we can decide for you.
2. When we purchase a Valley of Fire permit for your wedding, it does not mean that there will not be other park visitors in the area because park visitors are welcome to go wherever they would like in the park. What it does mean is that there should not be any other weddings at your location because that is not allowed. Entrance fees for all of your guests are included in the permit that we purchase.
3. There is no ceremony seating for your guests with the exception of the Visitor Center location. At the Visitor Center, there is seating for about 15 guests for the ceremony. Guests do not mind standing for the ceremony and are busy after the ceremony enjoying the area and the surrounding beauty.
4. We highly recommend that everyone wear shoes that they can walk in through deep sand and on rocks. We have seen many brides and guests try to manage in stilettos and it looks a bit odd when the heels are completely sunk into the ground! Also, the faster you can move around, the more photos you will end up with.
5. If you have any questions about your Valley of Fire State Park Wedding, please ask us. There is no such thing as a “dumb question” when it comes to your wedding day.
